ALLOW ME TO INTRODUCE MYSELF —
My name is Alex,
AND HERE’S MY STORY.
I’m a 31 year old, self proclaimed, champion of those in need. As the eldest kid of 6, the honest truth is that I grew up in a less than traditional way. My family situation left me with a chip on my shoulder that I carried pretty openly for a long time. I struggled to be healthy, I struggled to find balance & peace & an appropriate form of healing. I used substances, I used partners, I used most of my energy in pretending - and let’s be clear, I wasn’t hiding anything. I was a mess. I managed to convince myself that I was doing great because I had jobs and paid my bills and ‘took care of myself’ on my own. The truth was that I had a long way to go before I was truly taking care of myself.
Despite all my inner work I was denying myself, I still held jobs serving others.
I worked in a variety of childcare positions, from in-home nannying, working as an Au Pair abroad, and full-time single family childcare. The need to care for others has been a characteristic of mine since I was very very young. (My mom’s got a couple fav stories she likes to recall if you ever want to have a laugh & hear about lil’ Al.) My aptitude for childcare, coupled with my absolute love for kids of all ages, made it easy to commit to many years in that field.
Slowly but surely though, I did start to take care of myself. I started to hold myself to a higher standard. Every day I tried to take a small step forward. Many maaaany days I took steps backward. Hell, half the time I was doing a full line dance within 24 hours. I met my fiance David in my earlier 20’s & we’ve now been together almost 8 years. In the beginning we were both pretty rough. We both had an incredible amount of work to do, but despite all our stumbling, we started to build a healthier life. Honesty, communication, dedication, true support and a belief in each other were crucial to our growth. All things we actively apply today, not only for each other, but for those around us.
The momentum we found in those early years, led to a decision for me to leave childcare. It was time for the next level. I’ll never forget a close friend telling me, “Have you ever thought of coaching? You would be so great at it. You love helping people, you love fostering growth!” Lightbulb moment let me tell ya. There was the next step and I dug in DEEP. I became a fitness coach and I transformed into someone I hardly recognized.
Even more of those sad, unhealthy habits started to fall away. I looked different. I felt different. I was making an even greater impact.
Originally from good ol’ Minnesota, I always knew I would seek adventure & a place to call home elsewhere - just never 100% sure when & where that would be. David & I had been together for a few years and the topic of moving out of state had come up more than once. This was a conversation driven by an ache to grow even further, to see where we could thrive. We knew there was somewhere that checked more boxes, that would naturally foster more growth & excitement in our lives. After leaving my fitness coaching job of almost 3 years, we knew we were getting closer to a decision. In June of 2020, we became official residents of Arizona. As a newer resident of the southwest, I now spend many a day exploring the vast & incredible topography with David, our dogs Atlas & Audio; dalmatian and dachshund, respectively. I live in purpose, on purpose. I work every day to practice what I preach. I seek out opportunities with a more clear vision of what I want and what I can do for others. So here we are & here I am. Ready to walk through the storm with you - because I’ve been there.
We’lI forge ahead until your sun comes out and lights up the potential that is you and your life. — xo

My Coaching Approach
Clarify
It all starts with honesty about where you are now and where you truly want to be moving forward. By asking the right questions, listening deeply, intently & organizing your thoughts, we will clarify what it is you’re really seeking. We’ll come back to these goals throughout our time together for motivation and confidence that you’re on the right track!
Identify
Next, we’ll reflect on what may be blocking you, any habits that may be holding you back & any thought patterns that don’t align with your goals. You’ll start to become self-aware about what you’re doing throughout the day. We’ll analyze each week previous, noting both success and struggles, areas that saw accomplishments & areas that were neglected. We’ll draw insight from both the wins and the obstacles to support self reflection.
Create
Armed with clarity and accountability on past and present thoughts and actions, we create a focused action plan for the week ahead. Integrating lessons learned from the previous weeks, we will adjust as needed, to best realign yourself for ongoing success and keep you on track. As we progress, habits will become more ingrained, positive momentum will build consistent confidence, actions will become easier and results become better & better. Permanent, positive change becomes a reality!
I’d love to help you find your new path.
See how you can work with me to discover how to live in your truth.
